General Election 2026
• Vote by Mail Ballots begin to go out in the Mail to UOCAVA Voters: September 19, 2026
• Vote by Mail Ballots begin to go out in the Mail to Domestic Voters: September 24, 2026
• Deadline to Register to Vote: October 5, 2026
• Deadline to Request Vote by Mail Ballot: October 22, 2026
• Early Voting: October 21 – 31, 2026
• Election Day: November 3, 2026

Canvassing Board Dates:
• October 18 2026; October 25 through 27, 2026; and October 30 through 31, 2026; at 9 a.m. each day to open, process, and duplicate mail ballots
• November 3, 2026 at 2 p.m. to open, process, and duplicate mail ballots
• November 5, 2026 at 5 p.m. to canvass provisional ballots, vote-by-mail cure ballots; and, to approve, sign and submit unofficial results to the Department of State, Division of Elections
• November 7, 2026 at 9 a.m. to conduct county machine and/or manual recount, if necessary
• November 8, 2026 at 9 a.m. to conduct state machine recount, if required, and to submit second set of unofficial results
• November 14, 2026 at 9 a.m. to conduct statewide manual recount, if necessary; to canvass 10 day rule ballots, to sign and submit official results, and to conduct Audit of Election
